Worship FORMATS
Gloria Dei uses a variety of worship formats. We do
this because we recognize the richness of Christian worship, the
honoring of our tradition with modern styles and the wealth of
people here, whose musical gifts and worship leadership enrich our
life together. The monthly format includes:
1st Sunday: Lutheran Book of Worship (LBW) Our
traditional liturgical format.
2nd Sunday: Atomic – an informal worship with current songs led by
Atomic band.
3rd Sunday: Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) Our newest Lutheran
worship resource.
4th Sunday: Alternate: Our high school/college youth lead worship
vocally and instrumentally.
5th Sunday: Alternate – Our middle school youth lead worship
vocally.
We gather at the Lord’s Table each Sunday as brothers and sisters in
Christ.

Sunday School, Youth Dialog and Adult Study: 9:45
Summer Schedule
July - August
Worship: 9:30 a.m.
No Sunday School, Youth Dialog or Adult Study

A Welcoming
Place
There is now a space for parents with babies and small children in
the Fellowship Hall where you can listen to the worship service.
Holy Communion celebrated every Sunday of the month.
